The materials needed is a network cable, 2 RJ47 jacks, and a pair of cable pliers.
The instructions to make an ethernet cable is:
- Cut wire to desired length
- Strip the blue tubing off of wire
- un twist colored wires and make them straight
- Put colors in right order: light orange, dark orange, light green, dark blue, light blue, dark green, light brown, dark brown.
- Put wires together
- Make wires even by cutting them
- Hold jack with facing clip down
- Stick wires inside the jack
The way you test it is by pluging it into an ethernet tester.
